Nordfab Hangers
Gripple-are the most common hanging method for QF® duct due to ease of use. In addition to saving time and reducing labor costs, the flexibility of Gripple hangers allows suspension of ductwork from nearly any angle, yet maintains unyielding support.
Standard Pipe Hangers-Nordfab’s original Pipe Hanger provides a very sturdy connection that does not allow the pipe to move in any direction, and is economical. 3”-24” made from galvanized steel 14 GA, SS is 16 GA. Over 24 inches made from 3/16” flat bar steel. Supplied with two halves bolted together.
HJ Hangers-The Nordfab HJ Pipe Hanger can be connected directly to the ceiling and provides a sturdy connection that keeps pipe movement to a minimum. 3”-24” made from galvanized steel 14 GA, SS is 16 GA. Clearance hole 7/16”. Supplied with two halves bolted together.
Clamp Hangers-The Clamp Hanger replaces the nuts and bolts that other hangers use with a genuine Nordfab QF® Clamp, which allows for quick and simple repositioning. Galvanized steel or 304SS construction, Cannot be used as a Clamp connection. Clearance hole 7/16″.
Strut Hangers-For strut channel mounting (ideal when installing duct pipe close to a ceiling equipped with struts). Tested by MET Laboratories to hold, without failure, up to 170lbs for 9” ducting and up to 850lbs for 20” ducting. Galvanized steel or 304SS construction, Nut and bolt included.
