MDCXF102203, Laguna X|Flux: 10HP Industrial Dust Collector
The T|Flux series from Laguna starts to get serious. The Titan cyclones are geared towards clients who desire a single central unit for the entire shop. The T|Flux cyclones are equipped with a 10″ port that splits into 3 x 4″, allowing you to run a large diameter pipe system throughout your shop with drops to the individual stations.
All models are outfitted with smart drums which alert the user when the drums reach capacity. Automatic canister cleaning is controlled by a timer that turns on every work hour & runs 10 seconds clockwise & counter clockwise. The 1 micron canister has a huge surface area and filtrates 99.97% of particles ranging from 0.2 to 2 microns. Smart Drums comes standard with high quality casters and feature our unique quick disconnect design.
With 28 square meters of filter surface area, the i|Flux: 10 Elite is the most efficient 10HP dust collector currently on the market.
• 10HP TEFC Motor Supplying 5000CFM @ 6”wc, 15” Inlet
• Double Filter Area of 409 ft^2
• Safety Certifications: CSA | CE | NFPA
The machining of MDF, Melomine, Painted Panels, and other man made material creates a very fine and harmful dust to the surrounding operators. For the dust collector it is even worse; the filters get clogged and the bags can even blow off causing a dust cloud of harmful particulate into the shop.
The iFlux|10 Elite has solved this issue by using an appropriate filter arrangement with 409 square feet of surface area – double that of a typical 10HP collector. To do this, we used a smaller diameter bag, and a lot more of them. This arrangement maximizes the amount of surface area possible which is vital to adequate airflow through the collector.
Keeping these filters clean was addressed in the design. The positive pressure chamber pushes the air through the filters as the dust falls in the EZlift waste bins. As the dust cakes on, it will fall into the bin. A shaking mechanism has been added to help release the caked dust.
The i|Flux Elite series has been tested in the assembly line, and it is ready for all fine dust applications.
